Spögö ( madydiu.deviantart.com/art/3-s… ) is the name of her very sick pug puppy that just turned 3 months old. He has a severe eye infection that requires a lot of vet trips as well as very costly medications that are necessary to save his right eye. So, to help her out, I am asking each and every artist, regardless of skill level, to please take a look at the Super Auction posted on my journal. 100% of the proceeds will be sent directly to her by the winning bidder.
We are also accepting donations of artwork (finished or requests), journal features, DA subscriptions, stories, poems, and anything else you can imagine to make this the biggest and best charity auction DA has ever seen. You don't have to contribute a dime to help someone in need. Just mentioning the auction or her situation would help spread the word. Every ounce of help matters!

Umm.. where are all the artists??
*watches tumbleweed roll by* Hard to believe that so many artists have burnt out or simply vanished off the face of the earth. I'm forced to believe that they absolutely hate this newest version of DA. I'm also forced to admit that after a month or so of using it, I'm certainly not a fan! *ahem* Anyway, In all my years of dealing with this site off and on, I never have found it so incredibly hard to find a decent artist willing to do commissions without more regulations than a politician on speed. Standards, I get. Waiting lists, I get. An entire page of rules basically telling me that you're going to do whatever you want with my character that I'm PAYING you to draw, including making additional monies off my OC and my ideas with prints, shirts, etc.? Psh. Not gonna happen. I don't care how good you think you are. Most of the artists that I knew and admired are gone. It is what it is. So, I'm currently searching for new artists that can bring some of my ideas to life. Single pieces,

Yeah, just when you thought it was safe to finally relax a bit, put some clothes on, perhaps even heave a quiet sigh of relief, like a bad penny, I keep turning up to wreak havoc on the lives of everyone. *shrug* Wow, it's been a LOT of years has it not? I've already touched base with a couple of my closest deviants from way back when, but honestly this new site has me a bit baffled at the moment. Nothing is where it should be and it will take a bit for me to completely figure it out. In the meantime tho, if anyone has recovered from the shock of my reappearance long enough to read this far, how about a shout out so I know you're still around? I still have far more watchers than I ever expected to see, but sadly it appears there are more than a few inactive accounts among them. I'll be axing them as soon as possible since I despise inflated numbers.. it swells my attitude when it's unwarranted. Has anything changed? Gods, yes. On my part, and others. Wanna be a groupie and have a permanent feature here in my journal? It's simple! Just draw your own OC however you like, and then add "RTalon235 Groupie" somewhere on the image. The more interesting, the better! A skimpy t-shirt, panty waistband, titled at the bottom, tattooed on rear ends, top of the image, whatever floats your boat. You post them, I'll link them permanently. :nod:
