Now, barring any unexpected extensions, the contest ends on the 15th. As a reminder, each character owner will be choosing the finalist entries to go before the judges! The lower the character entries, the better your chances of getting your entry into the hands of the people that will decide the winners.

Entries will be accepted until 11:59 on July 14th. Also, if anyone needs an extension to get their piece in, NOW is the time to let me know.

Tis Friday once again! It's been a hectic week in this part of the world, and it's not even over yet. I will be online very little, if at all tomorrow thanks to my new furniture coming in, and the coming weeks won't be much better thanks to an insane insurance requirement that the property behind my house be fenced in... to the tune of over 3/4 of an acre. Which I get to do by myself and by hand. One of the many "perks" for not having real life friends to call on for assistance, and sure as hell not paying 25 bucks per linear FOOT to have fencing installed by a contractor. 14 grand for a fence that doesn't even cover my entire property? not in this lifetime.


Moving on to avoid discussing my obvious cheap nature.....

Oh yes! Like I don't have enough going on with my various projects, I added yet another one to the list! I call it the "HBIC Project" - full details on it are located here: [link] . I will be putting a permanent link up on my main journal as soon as I can get to it. The project is, in essence, helping someone because you can.. and it covers everything from favorites to features, subs to commissions, donations to giftarts, and everything you can think of in between. If you know someone that would benefit from this project, or would like to help with it, simply shoot me a note with the details. Even a little difference is still a difference, and the little ones add up.



In other news, I have a ton of various things going on, from kiriban watching, to shameless corruption, to commissioning artists both new and old for my assorted ideas, the series stamps, kidnapping characters, working on photo line arts, keeping up with the contest, checking my pitifully empty emails, ruling the world, planning universal domination.. and somehow, I gotta fit mowing the grass in there too.

Special Advisory 1!

I'm working on a new project ( yes, another one ) for my OCs so they can have completely unique Bios. To that extent, I need models for roughly 4-6 different images, and different models for each OC. You do NOT have to be similar to any of them to fit the bill, nor is shameless nudity required ( but considering who's asking, it's always appreciated ). I'm putting their status here for my own reference, and will update it as necessary.

The reason I need models is that it's simply gotta be cheaper for me to get 4-6 photographs per person than commission someone to draw 6 different pieces, only for me to take the necessary part of the 6 pieces and hire someone else to blend them together into the single multi-facet image that I have in mind.

Now, I'm not made of money despite what my kids will tell you... but if necessary, I'm willing to negotiate terms. Just post something here, drop me a note, or whatever!
